Our second meeting was awesome! We had a great turn out, double our first meeting. We had some great discussion on setting goals and planning for our businesses.

This meeting we focused on tips on putting together a plan for our business. I’m going to share a few of these tips here, just keep in mind these are a bit simplistic, but should get you moving in the right direction:

  1. What is something you want to accomplish in your business? (Mine was to bring my income from Internet Marketing to a consistent level)
  2. What is your timeline to accomplish this goal? (Mine was 6 months)
  3. What steps do you need to take to reach these goals? (My main one was to work on TIME MANAGEMENT,  set up and FOLLOW a schedule )
  4. What do you need to eliminate to reach your goals? (My big one was not buy any new products until I have used the ones I have, or if it fit specifically within my plan)

Like I said these are a little basic, but should get you to thinking about what direction to take your business in.

We spent quite a bit networking and socializing as well. Some informal chatting during the breaks. And a bit of chatting over cheeseburgers in the in hotel restaurant. I think every one came away with something they could use for their business and with the feeling of spending a good time with friends.

We have decided to get together again, probably about the first May (be on the look out for details on that). We all set some short term goals for ourselves and told the whole group, to be accomplished by the next meeting. Hopefully, this will give us all a bit of accountability and get us moving in the right direction.
